What are CS Executive Pre Exam Test?

If you are registered under CS Executive New Syllabus (2017), you shall clear pre exams before enrolling yourself for CS Executive Main Exams.

As per the notification for the new syllabus, a mandatory Pre-Examination Test has been introduced as a pre-requisite for seeking enrolment in CS
Examinations.

Concept of CS Executive Pre Exam is introduced by ICSI to check beforehand whether students are prepared for main exams or not.

CS Executive Pre Exam Test Pattern

CS Executive Pre Exam Tests are MCQs based tests which shall be given be CS Executive Student for every subject. Students can give these exams from anywhere (home/cafe) online using computer/laptop.

Do I have to clear Pre Exam for every subject?
Yes. Student shall clear Pre Exam for each subject separately.

How many questions are there in Pre Exams?
There are 50 Multiple Choice Questions for each subject. Each question carry 2 Marks.

How many marks are required to clear Pre Exams?
Atleast 40 Marks in each are required to clear the exams.

Is there any negative marking in Pre Exams?
Yes, for every wrong answer .5 Marks are deducted.

What if I fail? Can I give CS Executive Pre Exam again?
Yes, for every subject student gets 99 attempts.

What is CS Executive Pre Exam Test Last Date?

There is no specific date before which student shall clear Pre Exam Test.

But as the name suggests, student can enroll for main exams of any CS Executive Module only after clearing the Pre Exams of all subjects of such module.

So, student shall clear the Pre Exams before the last date for the enrollment of CS Executive Main Exams.

CS Executive Pre Exam Test Login

To give CS Executive Pre Exam Test, student shall login to the e-learning portal of ICSI. Here is the link:

Login id is registration without slash ‘@icsi.edu’ e.g 1400000072018@icsi.edu
Default Password will be shared over email as per ICSI records.

Student may try Learn@1234 or Icsi@1234 or Password@1234 as default password.
